Dragons Bond
Chapter 3
Journey
Two people could be seen walking along a dirt road to an unknown destination. One was male the
other female. The female was shorter than the male by almost a head, she had read hair that
cascaded down her back, which had a long black cape draped from her shoulders. She was
obviously a sorceress, the magical amplifiers were a dead giveaway. The Male was tall and
handsome, his long blonde hair draped over one eye and down his back. He had a sword sheathed
in a sheath at his side and he wore large metallic blue shoulder pads that matched his lighter blue
outfit perfectly.
The Blonde man looked down at the girl to his right with an inquisitive look. "Uuuh Lina?" He
said. The red head stopped in her tracks and looked up at him annoyed.
"What is it Gourry?" She asked in a menacing tone. The blonde man known as Gourry ignored it
and continued with his question, or rather he didn't notice it at all.
"Uuuuh Where are we going again?" He asked as he scratched the side of his head. Lina
commenced in pulling out her hair while making aggravated noises that showed nicely how
frustrated she was with her companion.
"OOOOOOOHHH GOURRY! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU!??!" She
screamed. As she glared daggers at the traveling swordsman. "We are going to Seyroone!"
Gourry pounded the fist that was scratching his head into the open palm of the other hand.
"OH YEAH!" He said as he remembered. Lina was about to continue walking but was stopped in
mid step by another of the swordsman's questions. "Uhm why exactly are we going to Seyroone?"
He asked once again scratching the side of his head.
Lina proceeded to kick the blonde buffoon in the side of his head and Gourry fell to the ground by
the impact. "FOR THE LAST TIME GOURRY WE'RE LOOKING FOR MAGICAL
ARTIFACTS AND WAYS TO GET MONEY TO GET FOOD!!!!" Gourry lifted his head off of
the ground with a glazed look in his eyes.
"Oh yeah! How could I forget food?" He said in a zombified voice as he stared off into the
general direction of Seyroone, drool dripping from the side of his mouth onto the grass below. As
if on cue both travelers stomachs growled loudly. Lina blushed a little bit.
"Heh Heh! Guess we better get going LET'S GO GOURRY!!!" She finished off quickly as she
grabbed the blond man's hand and dragged him behind her down the dirt path towards the large
city, Gourry flapping in the wind behind her in a large dust cloud left by Lina's humanly impossible
speed.
****************
Ranma walked up to Galnaav, who was currently sitting at a table in his study looking over scrolls
and writing stuff down on a blank scroll. "Galnaav?" Ranma asked as he approached the man. The
man in question turned around and stood to face the boy with a large smile on his face.
"Ranma! What is it my boy?" He said.
Ranma looked at him expectantly. "You know. Magic training. What will you be teaching me
today?" The pigtailed sorcerer asked the old man.
Galnaav shook his head and began to walk towards the small kitchen where a kettle of tea was
currently steaming on the small wood stove. "There will be no lesson today." He told Ranma as he
picked the kettle up and poured the hot liquid into two porcelain cups.
Ranma looked at the man curiously. "What do you mean no lesson? We have a lesson every day.
You have to teach me the rest." Galnaav chuckled as he raised his cup to his lips to take a sip. He
sighed contentedly as the warm liquid slid down his throat to settle in his stomach.
"My dear boy! I have nothing left to teach you. Whatever else you will learn will not be from me.
You must journey out on your own to further your skills now, and find your way home." Ranma
looked betrayed. Like a kicked puppy.
"But you said you could help me find my way home!" Ranma said now angry. "That's the only
reason I've stayed here with you and learned all this magic for the past six months!" Galnaav just
sat there in his wooden chair and smiled at the young teen who he had raised for the past little
while.
"Ranma, I said I would help you, and I did. The magic I have taught you is merely the first
stepping stone on your journey to gain the knowledge by yourself to find your own way home.
I do not know all the magic of the universe and I am too old to go on any new adventures. I,
however, have great confidence that you will find what you are looking for. You are still young
and have your whole life ahead of you."
Ranma nodded as he took in every word that Galnaav told him. He had learned early on, during
his stay here, that whenever the wise old man spoke, he should listen. All the information the
wizard/sorcerer had to give was always valuable and Ranma cherished listening to the wise old
man. He knew with age came wisdom but this man had much more wisdom than Happosai and
Cologne put together. An extra bonus was that he was neither a lecher nor an old mummy trying
to drug him into marrying his daughter.
"Do you understand what I'm saying, boy?" Ranma nodded.
"I think I do sensei." Ranma replied. "But where should I begin? The only knowledge of this
world is what I have studied in the maps you gave me." Galnaav shrugged.
"Go to Seyroone. I have a friend there, we go way back to my old adventuring days he and I.
Anyway he will help you simply tell him of your troubles and that I sent you and he will do all
within his power to help you out on your quest." Ranma nodded and was about to head out the
door to begin his trek to Seyroone when the old Sorcerer stopped him.
"Wait." Galnaav said as he dug around in the dark brown robe that he was wearing. He pulled out
a medallion and handed it to the pigtailed boy. Take this Ranma." Ranma looked at the medallion
in wonder.
"What is it?" The boy asked as he stared at the finely crafted medallion of a golden dragon coiling
around a jewel that looked very much like the eye of a dragon. It was made almost completely out
of gold except for the jewel. Ranma could feel the powerful magical energies within the jewel.
"This," Galnaav said indicating the jeweled medallion. "is the Medallion of Duragnamera.
Duragnamara was an ancient Dragon who wanted to raise his family among the human race so
they would not be hunted. A long time ago people were unaware of the true nature of dragons
and they were merely considered a hunters prize kill. There is a flaw to this medallion, it only lasts
for twenty four hours and takes another twenty four to recharge it's powerful enchantment."
"People used to just hunt dragons!" Ranma asked. “As in, go out of their way to find them and
kill them, with no more reason than ‘because it’s there’?”
"Indeed." Galnaav replied. "At one point in time I myself had hunted to kill a dragon. I thought
that it would be the perfect way to test the strength of my magical abilities. Shown up was I, by
the dragon and he spared my life. I learned later that dragons were merely another race. Just like
Elves, dwarfs, Orcs and all others, with a little help from you and Crimson of course." Galnaav
paused to let the information sink into Ranma's thick skull. "Back to the subject of the medallion,
there are three other magical artifacts scattered across the land much like the medallion of
Duragnamera. There are two bracelets and a head piece. One could either look for the temple of
the holy Dragon King or find the four Duragnamera artifacts. Each would have the same effect."
Ranma nodded. "Right so I'll go to the Holy Dragon king temple and use the medallion so
Crimson could fit in some of the time when we pass through a town."
Galnaav chuckled. "You've always been able to turn the simplest things into battle plans Ranma."
The old man said. "There is one last thing you must know Ranma."
Ranma looked curious again. "What is it?" He asked. Galnaav paused to take a sip of his tea
which had begun to cool slightly already.
"Many people have been searching for the ancient temple. None, however, have found it. It has
never been seen by anyone for several thousand years." Now Ranma looked confused.
"But how do you know about it then? If nobody else has ever found it what makes you think that
I can find it?" Ranma asked the old wizard/sorcerer. Galnaav chuckled again and reached into his
robe once more. Because I have a piece of the map that leads straight to the temple." Ranma took
the map that Galnaav handed to him.
"What good's only a piece of the map?” Ranma asked.
Galnaav began with the explanation. "Each piece of the map leads to another piece of the map,
once you have all six pieces of the map then you can find the temple. The other travelers had
never had a piece of the map. They all figured that since they were famous and that they had
found other ancient temples that they could find anything. They all died trying too. It became a
sort of obsession for them."
Ranma looked thoughtful. "So it's either find six pieces of a map or three artifacts." Ranma said.
He shoved the map in his own shirt and smiled. " I always like a challenge." Ranma said with that
he turned and headed out the door. Galnaav looked after Ranma and smiled. The old man was
sure that the boy would succeed in finding both the temple and the artifacts.
****************
Ranma walked outside and was surprised as a voice shouted out. "AQUA CREATE!" No sooner
had the words been spoken water appeared over top of Ranma's head and splashed him. The
water was cold and it activated the curse. The boy turned into a red headed girl in an instant
normally her clothes would have now been baggy on her smaller frame but they too shrunk to fit
her new form perfectly, the magical enchantment that Galnaav put on Ranma's clothes made them
fit his form no matter how dramatically he changed. A great booming laughter sounded out in
front of her.
Ranma glared at the red dragon in front of her. "What'd you do that for!?!" She screamed. The
dragon who had been the culprit in the soaking stopped laughing hysterically and just snickered.
"I'm sorry Mama-san It won't happen again." Ranma bristled and glared dragon slaves at
Crimson. Ever since the dragon had found out about Ranma's curse she had used every moment
she could to torment the boy and call him ‘Mama-san’. It was made even worse when she would
first turn him into a girl before calling him that. Ranma resisted, however, the urge to send many
fireballs flying at the young dragon.
"We're leaving today Crimson." She said as she wrung some of the water out of her hair and
began walking towards the path leading out of the forest. Crimson looked confused and followed
Ranma.
"Where are we going? I thought you were going to teach me the Tenshin Amaguriken today
father."
Ranma continued walking down the path. She looked up at Crimson and pulled out the medallion
from her shirt. "Here." She said as she handed it to her. The dragon stopped and took the amulet
from Ranma.
"What is it father?" She asked as she studied the jewel in the center of the medallion.
Ranma shrugged. "It's some sort of medallion that allows dragons to take a human form for a
day."
Crimson nodded and put the medallion around her large scaly neck. The chain that was connected
to the medallion was very large so it fit around the large dragons neck nicely. "Do I have to say
any sort of magic words? Or is it one of those mental magical access thingies?"
Ranma shrugged again. "I'm not sure. Galnaav never said there were any words to activate it so
I'm guessing it is one of the mental things." Crimson nodded and stopped Ranma stopped as well
and watched as her dragon daughter closed her eyes and concentrated. The medallion began to
glow and her form began to change. She began to shrink and her skin lightened, she grew hair and
gained a more human form. In a few seconds the red dragon named Crimson had turned into a
lovely teenage girl. She had long curly brown hair and beautiful blue eyes, she had a thin lithe
female body and her skin was nicely tanned, it bordered on an almost copper color. However the
medallion didn't include clothes.
Ranma turned around and blushed. "Jeez magic has no decency!" Ranma said Crimson didn't
seem to notice since when she was a dragon she was always naked anyway. She was. However
much colder than when she was a dragon. When a dragon she had a very intense body heat so was
not very much affected by cold weather. She covered her self with her arms and shivered in the
cool fall air.
"S-so c-c-cold!" She said. Ranma noticed this and walked up behind her. She took off her shirt
and handed it to Crimson who took it and quickly wrapped it around herself. "T-thank you
father." she said. Ranma put her arm around the now teenage girl and began to lead her back
towards Galnaavs house.
"I think we better see if Galnaav has some clothes for you." Ranma said. Crimson nodded and
began to walk with Ranma but she stumbled and fell on the ground.
"AAAAAAAHHH!" She cried as she impacted with the soft earth. Ranma bent down and did a
quick magical diagnosis to see if there was something wrong with her legs but there was nothing.
"What's wrong Crimson?" Ranma asked. With worry.
Crimson had tears welling up in her eyes. "I-I-I don't know how to walk in this form." She said.
Ranma frowned as he picked her up and cradled her in her arms. She then began to walk back to
Galnaav's house.
"I guess I'll have to teach you how to walk in your human form now then. We'll work on that on
the way to Seyroone after we get you some clothes. Shouldn’tt be too hard for you to pick up."
Crimson smiled and cuddled up to her fathers chest, though it was sporting a pair of breasts at the
moment, she felt so much more normal like this. It was warm and comfortable being held by her
father. She didn't normally have that luxury being a dragon.
Ranma however was trying not to pull a Ryoga and pass out while bleeding profusely from the
nose. Here he was carrying his adopted dragon daughter turned human daughter home. Her
Human daughter who was a beautiful young girl that was no older than she was, her human
daughter who was a naked beautiful young girl no older than she was and cuddling her chest.
Ranma sped up. She made it to the house in record time, walking into the bedroom that Ranma
had been using for the last six months as his own, he set her down on the bed and rushed out the
door. He looked back to Crimson but averted her eyes remembering that she was naked.
"Uhm Crimson, you, uh, wait here. I'll be, uh, r-right backwithclothesbye!" With that Ranma
rushed out of the room to find some clothes for the girl. Galnaav came around the corner to see a
topless Ranma chan.
"Ranma what have I told you about running around the house with your shirt off?!" The
wizard/sorcerer said in a stern voice. Ranma looked down at her own chest and covered up her
breasts with one arm.
"Sorry Gal. Do you have any other clothes around that Crimson could have?" She asked
frantically. Galnaav looked thoughtful.
"Hmmm... I have an outfit that my deceased wife used to wear...."
Ranma cut him off. "Perfect! Where is it!?!"
Galnaav pointed towards his room, "it's in the large brown che..." He was cut of again as Ranma
rushed past him and into the room that Galnaav stayed in. He threw open the large brown chest
that sat in the corner of the room. And started rummaging through it.
Ranma found a females outfit and pulled it out of the chest. It was white and had lots of green
swirling patterns on it. It had a few frilly parts on it but Ranma ignored it and rushed back to his
room where Crimson was. Galnaav noticed the outfit Ranma had taken and held up a finger to
inform Ranma of something but the boy turned girl rushed past him too fast to notice and cut him
off.
"Sorrycan'ttalknakeddaughterneedsclothesIgottago!!!!!" Ranma said.
Galnaav stared stupidly at the cloud of dust that Ranma's hasty run had kicked up. "That's my
wife's wedding dress." He said to the air in front of him.
**************
Ranma burst through the door and nearly ran over Crimson who was currently holding on to the
dresser trying to steady herself, her legs were wobbling and her arms were holding onto the
dresser for dear life. Ranma turned around and blushed. Crimson smiled, "I think I'm starting to
get it Daddy!" She said excitedly. Ranma threw the dress onto the bed and left.
"Here! Change into this quickly and I'll be waiting outside. Ranma took her shirt that Crimson
had taken off and put on the bed and left the room.
"Okay!" Crimson said. And she jumped onto the bed. To start getting dressed. Ranma stood right
out side the door waiting. There was some rustling for a second then there was a crash then a rip
then another crash, followed by several more crashing and banging sounds, as well as screams.
Ranma threw open the door to see what was taking so long and what all those sounds were.
Her eyes widened and she turned a deep red. Crimson was lying on the floor tied up in a tattered
and torn dress, her legs had somehow gotten tied behind her head somehow. And her arms tied in
knots in front of her.
"Uhm I think I need help getting dressed father." Crimson said with a slight blush on her face.
"I've never worn clothes before." Ranma sighed. This was going to be a very long day.
"I guess I better get another set of clothes." She said as she walked out of the room. He
remembered the very, kinky position Crimson was in and after blushing again helped her get
untangled before quickly running out to get a newer outfit from Galnaav's room.
**************
After about two hours a male Ranma walked out of the house with a well dressed Crimson
walking beside her. Ranma had used a variation of aqua create merged with fire properties to
create hot water in an instant. The Martial arts that Ranma had taught her in her dragon form
helped to speed up the process of learning to walk for Crimson. She was walking but Ranma had
to help her almost the whole way.
They were nearly at the edge of the forest after about an hour of walking and Ranma gave a
relieved sigh, as he saw the light beyond the dark trees. They had made it the whole way without
a single confrontation by any sort of monsters. *With my luck it won't last long.* Ranma thought
with despair.
"Well, well, well! What do we ave here?" Ranma groaned. He knew it. His luck was non existent
no matter what world he was on. The man who had asked the question was a bandit he had short
brown hair that was made to look spiky by the black headband that he wore. He had a smirk that
promised trouble.
"Looks like a Sucka and a pretty bird to me." Said another more pudgy bandit with a bald head.
They both wore dirty clothes that spoke of months without bathing. They both approached
Ranma who got into a defensive stance.
"Just leave us alone." Ranma said. Crimson was currently latched onto his arm. The bandits
ignored the defensive stance not knowing what it was.
"What you gonna do? Dance us to death?" The spiky haired one asked. He then pulled out a knife
and held it in front of Ranma's face. "Those are some nice clothes ye got there kid. Mind if I try
em on?" Ranma punched him in the stomach hard and the man collapsed to the ground coughing.
"Yes I do mind!" Ranma said. The other fat guy ran up towards Ranma, unsheathing a short
sword on his way. Ranma awaited the attack and kicked the guy in the head. Ranma then spun his
leg around to come down on the other bandit's head, which planted firmly into the ground. Ranma
nodded to Crimson and they continued walking away. Destination Seyroone.
**************
(Three days later)
Crimson was in her human form. She was currently working on one of the more advanced katas
that Ranma had taught her. She was practicing in a large open field. Ranma sat by a dirt road, that
they had been traveling on for a while, watching her. He smiled as he thought back on the past
couple days.. Crimson had learned to walk quickly and began practicing katas soon after, in her
human form. And since there was practically nothing but open space it had been very peaceful.
Something Ranma hardly ever had.
They would soon enter a forest that would then come to a small town. After they passed through
the town they would come to more forest, then it would be smooth sailing to Seyroone. Crimson
finished her kata and walked over to Ranma, she sat down beside him and smiled as well. She was
enjoying their trip.
"When will we be leaving again Papa-san?" She asked as she took a drink of water from the
container that was by her small traveling pack.
Ranma got up from his seat and picked up his much larger bag, hefting it onto his shoulder. "I
guess we could head out now." He said and continued walking down the path towards the forest.
Crimson looked down cast. "Papa-saaaaaaaaaannnn! Do we have to go now? I wanna rest first!"
Ranma nodded his head and continued walking.
"If we want to pass through the town and get a good nights sleep before the medallions magic
runs out and you turn back into a dragon we'll have to keep going." Ranma said. Crimson
groaned. She liked her human body, it gave her a lot more in common with her father, but she
would rather just sleep here and then fly straight to Seyroone quickly. It was much less tiresome
and straining.
Crimson noticed Ranma was getting ahead of her and she ran to catch up. "WAIT FOR ME
PAPA-SAN!" She called as she jogged after him.
Ranma bristled and turned around to face her. "STOP CALLIN ME THAT!!" He yelled as he
glared at her. Crimson giggled and latched onto his arm almost knocking him over in the process.
The two travelers soon reached the forest. Ranma had only to walk in to the forest for maybe four
or five minutes before he noticed that they were being followed. "Crimson." He said. "We're being
followed." Crimson nodded and kept her eye out. Ranma stopped. Crimson followed suit.
"Where are they Papa-san?" Crimson asked. Ranma winced at the title the girl gave him. And
pointed to the places where the different groups of enemies lay.
"Two groups of four on either side of the trail behind us, one group of three straight ahead, two
groups of two to either side. It's a classic Gnoll ambush. Crimson nodded and got into a ready
stance. Ranma kept looking straight ahead. Insane laughter rang out from ahead and to both sides.
The Gnolls, seeing that Ranma had already known their presence slowly stalked out of the thick
foliage and onto the trail.
The knolls were all seven foot tall hyena headed humanoids, each one carried a crude weapon of
some sort and their faces were twisted into insane, hungry, grins. Their yellow eyes glowed in the
shadows of the forest with malice and evil. Some had reddish grey manes and others had a dirty
yellow to an orange mane.
One Gnoll who came from the front was all white, it's hair was as white as snow, it's mane was a
dark blue with lighter blue highlight, and it's eyes had no yellow glow that most gnolls had.
Ranma guessed that this was the leader. It looked much more intelligent than the rest. Ranma
smiled. This was going to be fun.
Ranma got into a defensive stance and the Gnolls charged him, thinking that since he had no
weapons that he was no threat at all. They were sadly mistaken. Ranma rushed the large white
Gnoll. Who had a large axe. He ducked under one of the swings and then leapt up delivering a
fierce uppercut that broke the albino Gnoll's jaw. He spin kicked one of the Gnolls that was beside
the leader in the chest the force of the impact sent it flying into a tree and it was knocked
unconscious.
Ranma then jumped up and kicked the other Gnoll that was on the other side of the albino in the
head twice, the Gnoll fell to the ground unconscious. Ranma ran back to help out Crimson who
was a little overwhelmed.
Crimson had taken out two of the Gnolls with a few ogre punches, a technique Ranma had
created using chi to enhance ones punches to the strength of ogres, and some spin kicks, she was
having trouble with the other two who were much more skilled and cautious. Ranma powered up
his Magic and let loose a,
"FLARE ARROW!!" The resulting 40 fire arrows flew into the two Gnolls burning them severely
and eventually killing them. Their burnt carcasses fell to the ground with a sickening thump. The
digusting smell of roasted Gnoll flesh wafted up into the air threatening to make Ranma and
Crimson throw up.
The last two groups of Gnolls rushed out from beyond the foliage and towards the two martial
artists/sorcerers. Ranma and Crimson smirked very similarly to each other. If one did not know it
they would have sworn they were twins or something. They both took similar stances and began
to chant together.
"Oh source of all power, light which burns beyond crimson, let thy power gather in my hand."
Both Ranma and Crimson thrust their hands, built up with glowing red magical energy, in front of
them and simultaneously yelled.
"FIRE BALL!!!!" The two resulting spheres of burning red energy streaked towards the Gnolls
and impacted. The explosions were much larger than was normal for a fireball and could be heard
all the way in town where the residents all looked towards the explosion, Ranma had learned how
to increase the power of a spell using his chi. He had also taught this to Crimson so needless to
say, the result was far more explosive than a regular fireball.
The Gnolls were toast. The only thing left from the blast was a few scraps of Gnoll armor. Ranma
and Crimson continued walking towards the town with smiles on both their faces. They arrived in
town in no time. The only thing on their minds now was food. Both Chi and Magic took a lot out
of them.
***************
Lina Inverse, the Dragon spooker or Bandit killer, and Gourry Gabriev, a traveling swordsman
and Lina's companion, were currently doing what they loved to do best.
Eating.
Gourry and Lina had stopped at a restaurant in a town just outside of Seyroone. They had ordered
triple portions as was their usual share. They were shoving food into their mouths in handfuls at a
speed that anyone else but them would have said was inhuman. They ignored the disgusted stares
from the other patrons and began to fight over a particularly large piece of meat.
"LET GO GOURRY THAT'S MINE!!" Lina screamed.
"NO WAY LINA YOU ATE ALL THE CHICKEN LEGS SO IT'S MINE!!!" Gourry
countered. They continued to fight over the food, having a tug-of-war battle with their teeth.
Each combatant had their teeth firmly planted in either side of the large chunk of meat and were
glaring at each other while growling and pulling on it.
Two people entered the restaurant at about that time and Lina's ears perked up and she let go of
the piece of meat. Gourry and the meat went flying into a wall from Lina's sudden surrender of
food. Lina looked at the boy who had entered the place. He had black messy hair that trailed
down into a long ponytail. He had grey blue eyes and his clothing was that of a fighter, a war-
dancer or a ranger perhaps, but there was a hint of sorcerer there too. They were Crimson red and
had blue and black patterns of dragons on it. He wore arm bracers that were a rough golden color
and encrusted with jewels.
Lina could sense the magical power that the boy possessed and was a little intimidated. He was
obviously someone that you would want on your side. Lina recognized the arm bracers that the
boy wore. *The armlets of Zan-sovee!* She thought excitedly. *If I could get my hands on those
armlets...* Lina thought as her eyes glazed over and she started drooling. She didn't notice much
about the girl he was with, she had some magic and fighting skill and the only thing that stood out
about her was her pointed ears, oddly coloured skin and hair. The boy's ears stood out on him as
well, they made him look as if he was elvin or maybe draconic.
The fact that the boy was extremely cute didn't escape Lina either. Lina corrected herself. He
wasn't cute, he was gorgeous! Lina began to eat at a slower rate unconsciously hoping that he
wouldn't think of her as a pig should his gaze wander in her direction. Gourry, however, had
gotten up and was back to pigging out as usual. Lina kicked him under the table.
"OW! What'd you do that for Lina?" He asked. Lina glared at him.
"Gourry could you please try to eat at a normal pace!" She asked flatly. Gourry shrugged and
started to eat at a normal human beings pace. However he was having trouble doing so and he
started sweating profusely. His hands shook unsteadily. It was pure TORTURE for him!
***************
Ranma looked around the restaurant and shrugged as he entered the door. It wasn't too bad for a
restaurant. A little plain, but the food smelled delishious. He walked to the front counter and
asked the man behind it for a table. The man behind the table was currently leaning back on a
chair with a tooth pick in his mouth. He was a chubby man with sweat stains under his arm pits
and on his stomach. His long black hair was tied back in a pony tail with a few strands hanging
down at the front.
"We ain't got none. We're full." The man behind the counter said in a dull voice that was raspy
and rough. Ranma nodded and looked around the room for a table that might have a spot or two
that he and Crimson could sit at. He spotted a large table with lots of dishes and two occupants.
There was plenty of room. He walked over to the table motioning for Crimson to follow. He came
up behind the girl with the fiery red hair and tapped her on the shoulder.
"Excuse me." He said. Lina put down the large pigs leg and turned around to look at the boy.
"Yeah what do ya want?" She said. Hoping to look tough.
Ranma smiled and indicated the girl beside him. "Me and my daughter were wondering if we
could sit with you guys. We're pretty hungry and all the tables are full." Lina had stars in her eyes
and only registered the fact that he wanted to sit with them.
"Of course you can sit with us!" Lina nearly shouted. "There's lot's of room and I'm sure Gourry
wouldn't mind would you Gourry?" Gourry looked up at Lina with a confused expression on his
face.
"Huh?" He said intelligently.
Lina looked back to Ranma. "See It's fine. Take a seat. We'd be glad to have you."
Ranma nodded. "Thank you." With that he and Crimson sat down at the table Ranma sat on
Gourry’s side of the table. Crimson sat on Lina’s side. Lina had all her attention on Ranma the
gorgeous. "My name is Ranma." Ranma said as he indicated himself with one hand, he then
indicated the Brown/red haired girl beside him. "And this is Crimson."
Lina nodded. "I'm Lina! The beautiful sorceress supreme!" She bragged. Ranma smiled, an action
that melted Lina inside and made her want to smother him in kisses. She noticed that most of the
young women in the room were looking at Ranma much the same way.
"So you study magic too huh." Ranma said hoping to start a conversation with the girl.
"Yup!" Lina said proudly. "I'm the one who saved the world so many times from Shabranigdo,
Gaav the Demon dragon king, and Darkstar!" She said
Ranma looked confused. "Who, Who, and Who?" Ranma asked. Crimson was looking at Lina
confused too. She had no idea what she was talking about. Lina did a full face fault on the floor,
knocking over many dishes and food items.
"YOU'VE NEVER HEARD OF ANY OF THEM!?!?!?!?!" Lina shouted in amazement, shock,
and confusion all at once. Ranma looked a little embarrassed.
"No. Uh, should I have?" Lina fought the urge to face fault again and sat down. A waitress came
along seeing that the food contents on the patrons table was nearly empty.
"Will you be having anything else?" The waitress asked. Ranma took a menu from the waitress
and pointed to the front of it.
"I'll have one of everything." The pigtailed boy said with a wide smile. Lina gawked. Even she
only had triple portions. To eat one of everything on the menu would take forever.
*This guy must have some appetite.* She thought as she stared at Ranma dumbfounded.
Ranma Lina Gourry and Crimson got into a long conversation between them. Gourry just listened
to what Ranma and Lina said trying to figure out what they were talking about, and Crimson just
listened as she waited for supper. The waitress came by soon later and took all the empty dishes
from the table. No sooner was the table cleared. Five more waitresses came by with Ranma's
food.
Ranma and Crimson drooled at the sight of all the delicious looking food. Unlike the stuff that
Galnaav cooked this stuff actually looked and smelled like real food. The two fighters didn't even
bother picking up their utensils and just dug into the food. Lina gawked at the sight. Ranma and
Crimson were eating twice as fast as she and Gourry usually did.
Ranma stopped eating and wiped his mouth on his arm. He looked at Lina. "You can help
yourself if you want miss Lina. So can you Gourry." Ranma said as he turned his head towards
the blonde swordsman.
"ALL RIGHT!" Yelled Gourry as he started eating at about the same speed as Crimson. Ranma
was much faster. Gourry glared at Crimson as he tried to eat as much food as he could faster than
she could. Crimson noticed this and sped up her eating as she glared back at him. They were now
having an unofficial eating contest of a sort. Some of the patrons had gathered around and were
betting on who would finish first, they also cheered on the combatants.
Ranma just ate. He wasn't competing with the swords man and his daughter, he just ate faster.
Little did he know that the majority of the bets were placed on him. Lina was eating normally.
Which was odd for her but usually the people she met ate at a more normal pace than she did. She
was a little amazed at Ranma's Amaguriken speed.
The crew finished their meal soon. The other customers collected their winnings and left. Some in
tears, some with money hungry smiles on their faces. The waitress came over to their table again.
"That'll be $695 silver pieces." The waitress said as she held out her hand to Lina. Ranma reached
into his shirt and pulled out a simple leather pouch. He reached in and pulled out a whole bunch of
gold coins.
"Um, I only have gold pieces. How much for the meal in Gold?" Ranma asked the waitress who
was gawking at the small pile of gold on the table. Lina was looking at the pile greedily. She
looked at the pouch Ranma was carrying and noticed that the pile of gold that came out of it was
much larger than the pouch suggested capable of holding.
The waitress took the entire pile and began to walk away. "This should be enough." She said.
Ranma reached into the seemingly empty pouch and pulled out another handful of gold coins. He
held them out to the waitress who took them.
"Here. That should be a good enough tip right?" Ranma said. The waitress's eyes sparkled as she
stared at the more than generous tip that the boy had given her. Lina looked at Ranma shocked.
"How could you give her all that money!?" She asked. "How did you even fit that much money
into that tiny bag?!" Ranma shrugged and held up the bag.
"Oh this? This is just something my master gave me for my journey. It's the only existing endless
bag of gold. It carries infinite amounts of gold coins. I hardly ever use it. Only times I do is for
supper." Lina was drooling heavily from her mouth.
*MINE, MINE, MINE, MINE, MINE,!!!!!!* She thought as she stared at the tiny leather pouch.
Ranma stood up out of his chair. "Well. We better get going." He said. He waved to Lina and
nodded to Gourry. Gourry looked at Ranma as he exited the building. He then turned to look at
Lina who was all starry eyed and drooling. There was a large puddle of saliva on the table.
"What a nice guy." Gourry said. Lina snapped out of it and looked around frantically.
"W-W-WHERE DID HE GO!?!" Lina yelled as she looked under the table. Gourry pointed to the
door.
"If your talking about Ranma, Lina, then he just left." Lina grabbed Gourry's face and pulled it to
mere inches in front of her.
"GOURRY! HOW COULD YOU LET HIM GO!?! DO YOU REALIZE WHAT WE COULD
DO IF WE GOT HOLD OF THAT ENDLESS BAG OF GOLD!?!?!?!!?!?!!" Lina screamed in
Gourry's face.
Gourry stared off into space while he scratched the side of his head. "Uh dinner?" He asked. Lina
grabbed his arm and dragged him out of the restaurant at lightning speed. Calling out into the
street.
"RAAAAAANNNMMMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!"
