Dragons Bond
Chapter 1
Birth
"RANMA YOU COME BACK AND MARRY SHAMPOO!!"
"RANCHAN!!"
"BAAAAKKKKAAAAA!!" Ranma ran as fast as he could from his three enraged fiances, the rest
of Nerima not far behind for some reason or another. This had become a daily occurrence lately
"What did I do to DESERVE THIS!?!?!" The Jusenkyo cursed boy asked to the heavens hoping
for some kind of miracle. It had all started off as a relatively quiet morning. Ranma woke up did
some katas, had breakfast, and was about to go and find an ice cream shop for a snack.
Well things didn't stay pleasant shortly after Shampoo had come along and glomped onto him and
then Ryoga saw it as Ranma struggled to get away and screamed something along the lines of:
"RANMA HOW DARE YOU BETRAY AKANE!!" It all went downhill from that point on with
Akane coming out and hitting him with a mallet telling him to stop picking fights with Ryoga.
Ukyo was walking by then and saw Akane hit him and ran after him to comfort him. Of course
her idea of comfort was asking him on a date while holding him in a bone crushing embrace.
Kodachi came by and witnessed this display and started laughing maniacally, while proclaiming
her lust for the pigtailed boy.
That was about the time that Ranma decided to run away. Of course everyone followed and soon
enough anyone that he knew or had met at one point in time was chasing after him. Either to beat
his head in with a large blunt object or to ask his hand in marriage.
Ranma dove into a pond in the park that he was passing through. Inevitably it triggered his curse
turning him into a female version of himself with fiery red hair, but he hoped that if he held his
breath and kept out of site in the water long enough the Nerima crew would pass by harmlessly.
He could hear the distorted voices of all her friends and family as they ran by looking for him.
*Huh!* She thought as they stopped near the pond searching around to see where he had
disappeared to. *How I'm able to call people, who nearly beat me to death every time I see them,
friends is a total mystery!* She thought as usual. Of course the pigtailed boy usually always
forgave them all when it was over.
Ranma heard the last of them all leave and she lifted herself out of the shallow water with a gasp.
"Finally!" She muttered under her breath. Just then Ukyo, Shampoo, and Akane's heads popped
out from a nearby bush.
"There he is!" called Ukyo to the other girls as they all jumped out and tackled Ranma. Ranma
sighed and slumped to the ground in a heap with three other girls on top of her.
"Ran-chan? Why were you hiding?" Asked Ukyo. Concern and fear laced in her voice. Shampoo
dug in her blouse and pulled out a plate with cookies on it, the cookies had a sparkling powder on
them that Ranma guessed correctly was a love powder of some sort.
"Ranma eat homemade cookies Shampoo bring." Shampoo ordered as she tried to shove them
down the reluctant redheads throat. Akane saw this attempt to poison Ranma and frowned.
"HEY! You’re trying to feed him that Amazon poison of yours again! Aren't you!?!" Akane
yelled as she glared daggers at the purple haired Chinese girl. Shampoo glared back.
"Shampoo no feed Airen Poison! Mallet girl is only one who poison him!" Akane looked at the
girl with hatred and loathing.
"What did you just say?!" She said in a low and menacing voice.
Shampoo gave the youngest Tendo girl a look that rivaled any super hero villains most evil glare.
"Violent, tomboy girl hear Shampoo clear and loud!" she said in a very similar and just as
menacing voice. Akane brought out her mallet and let out a battle cry as she swung at the Chinese
Amazon. Shampoo jumped out of the way and laughed at her mockingly. "You call Shampoo
when you get skill then we fight for real!" she called out. Ukyo seeing that the other two of her
rivals were occupied moved closer to Ranma who was slowly and quietly inching her way away
from the fight.
She latched on to the small red haired girls arm and looked in to her eyes. "Why don't we get
away from the Bimbo and the Tomboy and head back to my place?" She said with a sultry purr of
a voice. Ranma shivered as she reminded him of a cat at that moment.
"No, I think tha...." Ranma didn't get to finish as Ukyo was tackled off of her by a purple and
black blur. Now all three girls were transfixed in an all out brawl in the dirt. Ranma slowly backed
away and then jumped over a wall headed for Dr. Tofu's clinic, hopefully she could get some
advice from the good doctor, and maybe some hot water.
***********
Shampoo entered the Neko-Hanten with dirt covering her entire body. Her clothes were torn in
every place imaginable revealing very much of her well endowed form with the naughty bits just
barely covered up. Cologne hopped out from the kitchen on her ever present wooden staff. "What
has happened to you child?" asked the gnarled old form of the woman.
Shampoo shuffled passed her great-grandmother grabbed a chair and flopped down onto it with a
huff. "I try Nichuan cookies but Airen no eat. Spatula girl and Violent, mallet carrying, psychotic,
no skill, maniac, Tomboy interrupt."
Cologne nodded her head. "So the love cookies didn't work." She sighed. "There doesn't seem to
be a single love potion on Earth that could entrap son-in-law."
Shampoo sighed as well. "Maybe should just give up. He no love Shampoo anyway." She said as
she drooped her head towards the ground with tears welling up in her eyes.
Cologne smacked her overtop of her head with her cane. A large lump developed almost instantly
"Don't talk like that girl! The boy loves you! These love potions are just a way to speed up the
process of love." The old hag lied. Shampoo perked up a bit.
"But none of these potions work." She said with a bit of dread. "How can push Airen in right
direction if he no take it?"
Cologne smiled the evil smile that every one knew meant certain trouble. "Daughter. I believe that
it's time we took a little more drastic measures." Shampoo looked up at the living prune with
confusion.
"What you mean great-grandmother?" Cologne started to walk towards the back room where all
her potions and ancient tomes sat. Shampoo followed the old woman without hesitation or
question.
"Child, the magic that you have been using has been very weak magic. Ranma would have been
able to break many of those spells by will alone. Some that we’ve tried are only temporary
anyway. Most of this magic we try on him won't even work if we did get him to try." She said.
Shampoo listened intently to every word the woman said. "If most of them no work then why we
use?" The young amazon asked, totally confused.
Cologne just shrugged her tiny withered shoulders. "We could get lucky." She said simply.
Shampoo nearly face faulted. She fought the urge to hit her grandmother for putting her through
all of these failed attempts to capture Ranma. Cologne then opened the door to the back room
and Cologne entered with Shampoo close behind. Shampoo looked around and saw nothing new
she had read most of these books when she was little. She would come to Colognes library and
read the dusty old books while hiding from an enamored Mousse.
"Shampoo no see anything new." She said. Cologne hopped up onto a chair near one of the brick
walls and pulled down a large lever, disguised as a stone gargoyle. One of the empty walls then
opened up revealing a secret passageway. Cologne casually walked into the dark corridor that led
in a downwards spiral towards a torch-lit room with even more old books. "Aiyah!" Shampoo
said simply as she walked into the room.
Cologne walked along one of the bottom shelves and then pulled out a really, really, really old
book that was covered in so much dust that it looked like a large square hairball. Shampoo's great
grandmother blew on the book a couple of times and wiped away some of the dust on the old
tome. She carried the book over to a small table and opened it up. Shampoo looked over the old
crones shoulder to see what was in it.
Cologne came to a page and finally stopped. "Here it is!" She exclaimed as she pointed to it.
Shampoo looked over it and looked confused.
"What this?" She asked looking to her great grandmother for an explanation. Cologne sighed and
began her old and wise story of ancient times.
"This book is one of the oldest magic books that has ever existed. It has been handed down
through the tribe for many thousands of years. It contains all of the most powerful spells to ever
have existed in this world." Shampoo looked on at the old book in awe. Cologne continued. "This
here is a spell that allows you to put a love spell on Ranma that will make him forever in love with
you." Shampoo glowed at the prospects of having Ranma love her.
"But!" Cologne warned the purple haired girl. "You have to be very carful when you read out the
spell. If you misread it or do something wrong with the preparations then anything could happen!"
Shampoo looked at the book contemplating what to do. She came to a conclusion shortly after.
"I will use spell." She said simply.
Cologne smiled. "Excellent! Now Shampoo. This is very important, to do this right you need a
strand of Ranma's hair." Shampoo nodded. "You must as well use this magical powder. It will
empower the spell and once you use this then you must read off the spell exactly as it is written!"
Shampoo nodded again. Cologne gave her a bag of powder which she held on to for dear life.
"Go get the hair child. I will draw the enchantment circle." Shampoo nodded and ran up the stairs
to her room. Cologne started pouring the powder in circular patterns around the floor of the
room. Shampoo came down before she was finished.
"Shampoo have hair!" She called to the old mummy. Cologne looked at her surprised.
"That was fast. How did you get the hair in such a short amount of time?" She asked. Shampoo
blushed and held out a lock of deep black hair tied in a red silk bow.
"Shampoo have some of Ranma's hair in room." Cologne chuckled.
*Oh to be young again.* She thought as she thought back to times when she was young and in
love much like the young girl before her. Cologne shook herself out of her reverie and continued
in drawing the circle. Little did either know that a little white duck had silently been following the
pair and listening in on their private conversation.
*I won't let this hell born event take place!* thought the duck as it walked away silently to plot
how to make sure that it didn't happen.
***********
Later, Shampoo sat at the table that was surrounded by an intricately laid pattern of sand circles.
The book lay in front of her with two candles on either side being the only light source in the
entire room. She looked over her shoulder to make sure she was alone and then she began to
chant the words written on the page.
"Love of my eternal flame,
The object of my hearts desire,
Hear my words, that I do state,
The need for you is dire ."
Mouse decided that now was the time to act. He threw an electric fan into the corner of the room
aiming it directly at the book, it was connected to the power supply in his robe. Hiding in the
darkness waiting, he threw a dagger to the fan and made a noise himself to distract the girl.
Shampoo looked over at the Jusenkyo cursed blind boy and threw a Bonbori at him to shut him
up She did not notice the strategically placed fan nor the throwing knife imbedded in the on
switch.
She then turned back to the book and continued from where she thought she had left off. She
didn't notice the fan being turned on and blowing the book over to the next page.
"Beyond the barriers of time and space,
Beyond our mortal plane,
Open doors to many more,
No two be quite the same."
The circle around her began to glow a magical aura of swirling blues and reds. And began to rise
towards the ceiling. Shampoo raised her hands to the air above her as the book instructed.
"I call upon the power of Darkstorm,
To lend your power unto me."
The energy was now swirling very fast around the small room and began to turn to a crimson red
energy that began to buildup at the center of the circle.
"Let the gates be torn asunder by the power that you and I possess,
DIMENSIONAL PORTAL!."
The energy was now swirling solely around the circle and was building up around the hair that
was now floating above the circle. Shampoo was sweating bullets and her eyes were closed as the
energy gathered into a tiny ball of red light around the hair.
"RRRAAAANNMMAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" With her scream the ball of energy shot through
the ceiling. It smashed all of the concrete and floorboards, and streaked across the sky towards an
unknown destination. Cologne was busy looking over all of the Neko-Hanten's bills when the
beam of Crimson Energy destroyed half of the restaurant.
"What the HELL!?" She yelled. She looked down the hole to see Shampoo staring up through the
hole next to an unconscious Mousse. *Oh No!* She thought. *I have a bad feeling about this.*
Shampoo looked up in confusion. *Dimensional Portal? That’s a strange name for a love spell.*
**************
Ranma, now in male form, was currently walking home to the Tendo Dojo with a frown on his
face. Doctor Tofu hadn't been much help at all. Kasumi had chosen the worst possible time to
drop by and return a book to the doctor. Ranma sighed. *Someone ought to just smack Tofu and
get him to ask her out!* He thought. He jumped up onto the fence that stood at the edge of the
Canal, as was habit and began walking across it towards the Tendo dojo.
**************
Akane was looking the worse for wear. She had mud and dirt stains all over her yellow sweater
and blue skirt, both of which were torn nearly to shreds. She was currently cursing at Ranma,
blaming him for all of her troubles, as was habit. She looked down the street towards Tofu's
which was her destination.
The youngest of the three Tendo daughters glared at the pigtailed form that was strolling towards
her on top of the fence. *There he is!* She thought as she readied her mallet to strike at the
pigtailed boy. *Now he's gonna get it!* With that Akane charged down the street towards her
target, mallet held high.
"RRRAAAAAANNNMAAAAAAAAA!!!!!" She screamed just before a large streak of Crimson
energy raced over her head knocking her to the ground. She landed face first into the ground
getting a few more scratches from the rough concrete. The girl looked up to see what it was that
had done this. That was just moments before the energy struck Ranma and created an explosion
that sent Akane two blocks down the street before she contacted with a wall. If she wasn't a
martial artist every bone in her body would have shattered. Lucky for her she was as strong as an
ox.
The last thing she had thought of before falling into unconsciousness was Ranma.
Ukyo Kuonji watched as the explosion sent the Tendo girl flying her way at bullet speed. She
jumped out of the way just before the short haired Tomboy impacted with the wall of a small
restaurant. She looked over to where the blast had originated. After the fight with Shampoo and
Akane she had headed home to the Uuchan. When the okinomiyaki chef saw the large Crimson
streak trailing through the sky she decided to follow it and see what was going on.
Ukyo ran to the Tendo girls side and felt for a pulse. She sighed in relief as she felt a steady and
strong pulse on the girls neck. She left the girl there and rushed to investigate the explosion. *I
just know Ran-chan is tied into this somehow.* She thought as she hopped across rooftops and
cars down the street towards the blast crater.
Ukyo arrived on the scene and estimated the damage. There was a crater that was about the size
of two or three houses, taking a good chunk out of the fence, canal, and street. She ran to the
center of the rubble and began to search through it in hopes of finding something that could tell
her what was going on. She moved a rather large piece of concrete out of the way and caught
sight of red silk. "RANMA!" She cried as she began to move more and more rubble out of the
way.
Ukyo thought that she was close but after moving a bit more of the rubble her hopes were
shattered. All that lay before her was a red silk Chinese style shirt and a pair of black silk pants.
Ukyo held the piece of clothing to her face and wept. The tears streamed down her face as she
thought of Ranma's demise.
"Oh Ran-chan." She said to her self as she rocked back and forth with the torn and burnt piece of
cloth. "There's no way any one could have survived an explosion this big." Thoughts of Ryoga
pulling through unscathed by the blast came to her mind but she shook her head and wrote it off.
*Naah! Ryoga's a monster.*
**************
(Later that day at the Tendo Dojo)
"WHAT DID YOU SAY!?!" Soun Tendo screamed at the girl before him. Ukyo shuddered at the
older mans Demon Head attack. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN RANMA IS DEAD!?!"
Ukyo Kuonji, who had picked up Akane's unconscious form and brought her back home along
with Ranma's wrecked clothes and the bad news, was just as upset at Ranma's demise as Soun
was, if not more-so. Ukyo had tears streaming down her face. "Mister Tendo, I know he was your
heir and you’re upset. But Ran-chan was my fiancé. You can’t possibly know what that’s like!
The realization that your fiancé was blown up in an explosion!" Ukyo broke down and started to
cry.
Akane comforted the girl as best as she could. She had woken up shortly after Ukyo had arrived
at the Dojo, She didn't like Ranma that much, but she'd never wanted him to die. She was just as
upset as the other girl was. She would never admit it but she really did like Ranma, and found him
quite attractive. "It's okay Ukyo." She said repeatedly, not knowing what else there was to say.
Ukyo buried her face in Akane's shoulder and cried harder muttering. "It's not okay, It's not okay,
Ranma's dead." The mood in the Tendo dojo was dark indeed. Not even Kasumi had the strength
to smile. Even Nabiki was affected by the supposed death of Ranma Saotome, her largest money
producer. Ranma had worked his way into all of their hearts during his stay with them, though
most wouldn't admit it.
It was just about that time that a purple haired Amazon and her mummy wannabe grandmother
burst through the door of the Tendo home. Shampoo was carrying an old dusty book, she had a
worried expression on her face. Mousse followed the two women into the house and had a stupid
grin on his face.
"Ranma not dead!" Yelled Shampoo as she rushed in.
"WHAT!?!" yelled everyone else in the room. Shampoo rushed past everyone and set the book on
the table. Cologne hopped up beside her as the amazon warrior opened it up to the page that the
spell she had used was on. She pointed to it and everyone crowded around to see what it was.
"What's that?" Nabiki asked.
Cologne began with the explanation that she had made up on the way to the dojo. "According to
the energy signature that the blast gave off I was able to discern what spell it had been." Akane
put her hands up to stop the old crone.
"Woah, woah, woah! Spell!" Akane yelled. "What spell!?" Cologne continued her explanation.
"This book contains many of the most powerful spells that exist on this world. Shampoo had
given up on Ranma. She had realized after today that she couldn't win his heart." Akane cut her
off.
"So you were going to use an even more powerful love spell right!?" She asked. Shampoo was
about to nod guiltily but was cut of by Cologne.
"No! I had planned on reading a spell that would heal Mousse's blindness." Mousse perked up a
bit he hadn't heard anything about this.
"Huh?" Cologne smacked him across the room with her staff.
"SHUT UP!" The amazon matriarch collected herself and proceeded with the explanation. "If we
could cure mousse of his blindness than he would be a worthy match for Shampoo. However
these spells are very complicated. And Mousses stupidity botched the incantation, turning the
healing spell into that of a transportation spell."
Ukyo looked much more relieved and wiped her eyes. "Oh! Okay! So we just go find Ran-chan
and bring him back." She said cheerfully. Cologne shook her head.
"No child. The spell did not send Ranma to another place on our earth."
"It didn't?" Asked Akane, Ukyo, and Shampoo at the same time. Cologne shook her head again.
"No. The spell has sent Ranma to a world that is not of our own dimension. Possibly not even the
same time. Ranma is in a whole new reality."
Everybody gasped.
*************
Ranma awoke with a pounding headache that threatened to split his skull in two. "What
happened?" He asked to no one in particular as he held his head to stop the pain somewhat and
stood up off the rocky ground. *Last thing I remember was a giant energy ball headed straight for
me. then...* Ranma nearly threw up as he thought back on the short trip he had through the
dimensions. It was a rough ride. He had been thrown through some portal and then there was non
stop colors rushing past him in a tunnel that swerved through the dimensions. Ranma had at first
thought that he had died and this was the 'tunnel of light' that would bring him to heaven. Instead,
views of peoples lives on different world rushed by him and then on of those pictures opened up
before him and he was thrust through.
The feelings after that were too much to take and he passed out. The last thing Ranma
remembered seeing was a picture of a dragon. Ranma looked around at his surroundings.
Somehow he knew he wasn't on earth, or at least not his earth. *Great!* Ranma thought as he
looked around at the rocky landscape. He could see trees and vast forest beyond. *Guess that
would be the best place to start if I want to find my way home somehow.* He thought as he
began to move towards the forest.
It was at about that time that he felt a sudden draft. He looked down to see that he was
completely naked, and standing on a rocky mountain overlooking the forest. Ranma covered
himself up even though there was no one around. "GEEZE!" He yelled. "Someone must have
stolen my clothes while I was out of it." Ranma looked around hoping to find something that
could cover him up until he found some clothes.
Just then a huge gust of wind picked up and sent Ranma sprawling to the ground. Ranma looked
up to see what it was that had flown over top and saw, to his amazement, a Dragon, two dragons
to be exact.
The first dragon that flew by was red. It had large horns protruding from it's head. Three horns
that were smaller but just as sharp adorned it's chin giving it a goatee of a sort. The dragon was
easily 150 feet in length if not longer. The wings that protruded from its upper back spanned close
to 200 feet, they were a greyish blue that turned to a more navy color at the tips. The Red dragon
was currently holding a large egg in it's equally large claws.
The dragon was also being chased by a blue dragon. The blue dragon was larger and it's entire
body seemed to be made of nothing but spikes and horns. It had frilled blue ears and a single
greenish blue horn on it's head. It's scales varied in size and color, the colors varied from an
iridescent azure to a deep indigo. The dragon's body was about 200 feet in length, it's wingspan
was about 150. The wings were a sickly greenish yellow color. The dragon seemed to be enraged
at the smaller dragon for some reason at all. Neither dragons noticed Ranma nor would they care
if they did.
"Wow!" Ranma said as he watched the aerial chase. He was so entranced by the beautiful display
of skill and the realization that he was looking at two real live dragons, that he almost didn't see
the egg that dropped from the red dragons grasp as it made another pass over the martial artists
head and it almost landed right on top of him. Ranma jumped out of the way just in time as the
egg impacted with the ground. It was about six feet tall and was emanating a lot of heat, like a
giant coal.
The red Dragon was obviously trying to keep the egg safe and made a dive to pick the egg up and
hopefully get away from the area as fast as possible. The larger blue dragon was not aware of the
egg and seemed not to care. It rushed at the Red dragon and tackled it. Ranma hid behind the egg
hoping that the dragons would not see him and think he was it's next meal.
The Dragon's were now entranced in a full out brawl. Teeth and claws glinted in the bright
afternoon sun. Ranma knew that they were too busy fighting to notice him but was carful just in
case. After all he knew nothing about dragons. The large mythical monsters rolled past him and
shortly after the blue dragon bit deep into the Red dragons neck drawing blood. The blood
seemed to glow like molten lava and the Red dragon was now hard pressed to keep fighting as the
blue dragon dug it's claws past it's metallic red scales and into its flesh, eliciting an incredible
shriek of pain.
Ranma winced as he could see who was winning and that it would not last long. The Red dragon
dropped to the ground and began to crawl towards the egg in hopes of protecting it. It looked at
Ranma and Ranma thought that he was as good as dead. The Blue Dragon lifted it's claws into the
air and then swung them down into the others back for a killing blow. The Red Dragon reared it's
head back and roared defeningly. It looked at Ranma one last time before dropping it's head to the
ground lifelessly.
Ranma watched in awe as the Blue Dragon seemed to smirk at the fallen form of the red dragon.
The victor of the furious battle then flew off casually into the afternoon sky.
Ranma stood beside the egg staring at the fallen red dragon. He had seen something in those eyes.
Hope...fear...and...trust. Ranma could see no malice as the dragon looked at him. He couldn't
quite recognize what it was that the dragon was trying to tell him, but...he felt...compelled to do
something. But, what? What did he know about Dragons?
Ranma walked closer to the Red Dragons egg. He extended a hand to it and touched the surface.
It was hot, but not so much as to burn him. He extended his senses into the shell to see if maybe
there was something alive in there. He could feel something living inside as well as some kind of
strange energy. Ranma had been using his ki for a long time now, he used it to power his Moko
Takabisha, and he could recognize the ki's energy. The power that he felt was not ki, but
something else that now extended itself from the egg into his body, something he had never felt
before. The strange energy was powerful, warm, and comforting, almost addictive. Ranma took
his hand away from the egg.
"Woah!" He said in amazement as he stared at his hand. He could feel the energy flowing through
him. It tingled as it traveled through his arms and down to his chest where it finally dissipated and
stopped. Ranma jumped startled as the egg began to move. "What the?" He said as he took a few
steps back from the crimson oval.
He watched in awe as the shell began to crack and break away. He couldn't believe it. First he
gets sent through some sort of wormhole into another dimension then he sees two dragons fight,
sees a dragon die and _now_ he's is witnessing the _birth_ of a dragon. Ranma took a step
forward wanting to see the baby dragon. The large chunks of shell that fell to the ground
dissipated into the ground after giving off sparks of sparkling energy. Where the shells hit the
ground plants of all sorts sprouted from the ground. It was as if the new life of the dragon gave
off new life to the land around it.
Ranma marveled as the head of a baby dragon popped out of a hole in the shell. The pigtailed
martial artist could not help but smile as he watched the bright glossy scarlet head of the young
dragon emerge from the shell. As the pieces of the shell fell to the ground, various plant life
erupted around it. It made a small squawking sound as it saw Ranma and it advanced
it's effort to escape from the shell. Ranma got a small nagging voice in the back of his head telling
him that nothing but trouble would come if he stayed here. Ranma shrugged off the voice in his
head somehow knowing that he had to stay.
The baby Dragon crawled free of the shell and walked towards Ranma. The small wings on it's
back stretched having not been used ever before. The dragon, although it was just a baby, was
almost the same height as Ranma himself was. And although the baby showed no malice in it's
surprisingly humanlike eyes, Ranma could not help but feel a little intimidated by the creature of
myth.
Ranma had no idea how a dragon, whether child or adult, thought or acted, So the martial artist
stayed alert ready for an attack. The baby dragon walked up to Ranma and opened it's jaws.
Ranma prepared for the worst and it came in the form of a long wet tongue licking Ranma's face.
"W-What the! Huh?" the baby Dragon then curled up around Ranma's feet and began to sleep.
Ranma rolled his eyes. "Oh for crying out loud!" He said he looked down at the scarlet form of
the dragon and his shoulders slumped. *Okay! This is probably one of those bird things isn't it?*
The boy thought. *I'm the first thing it saw so it thinks that I'm it's mother.* Ranma shivered as he
thought that. It was a really scary thought for him, especially with his Jusenkyo curse.
Ranma sighed. "I can't take care of a dragon!" He said with a defeated sigh. He bent down and
looked the dragon in the bright blue grey eyes. "Hey, uh, dragon. I'm not your, um, mother." He
said to the dragon. The dragon looked up at the pigtailed boy and kind of smiled. Ranma
continued as he stood up and started to head off in the direction of the forest slowly. The baby
dragon got up and started to follow. Ranma held out his hands.
“NO! No, no, no! You stay! I go!" He said as he motioned for the dragon to stay where it was.
Ranma was treating it like a puppy and he felt like he was kicking it for doing so. It was just that
Ranma didn't know how to care for another animal, let alone a dragon! That was the kind of stuff
Kasumi was good at.
The dragon sat down on the once rocky now full of life surface staring at the Jusenkyo cursed boy
a little saddened by his movements, seeming to understand them. Ranma nodded as he saw the
dragon was going to stay. He then turned towards the forest and took a large martial artist thirty
foot leap that he was so good at.
The young dragon stared off as the Anything goes martial artist took an inhuman leap into the
dense forest. It frowned and sat down to wait for the boy to come back but then it's frown turned
into a smirk and it began to crawl down the steep mountain slope towards the forest after the boy.
***************
Ryoga had been in Akane's room when it all happened. He had gotten splashed by some old lady
washing off her walkway and one of Akane's friends had found him in his P-chan cursed mode and
brought him back to the Tendo Dojo. He had waited there for Akane to come back and he was
looking around for the stairs when he had heard the conversation between the people downstairs.
Ryoga had been horrified when he heard that Ranma was dead. He had realized that, although he
said it many times over, he had never wanted Ranma to die. He had even thought of the boy as a
friend. Shampoo came through and told everyone of what had truly happened and Ryoga took all
that he had thought back. In the little black piglets mind he was jumping for joy. Ranma was stuck
in some dimension where he'd probably never get back. Now he had no rival for Akane's heart.
*Ohhh Akane.* The boy turned pig thought as he spaced out and pictured himself in human form
loving and comforting Akane in her times of need. *Soon we will be together.* Ryoga ran to the
bathroom across the hall to get changed into a human and get dressed. He always kept a spare set
of clothes hidden away in the closet there. What was surprising was that he made it to the
bathroom in one try. The Pig cursed boy noticed this as well, but he thought it was love that
guided his way.
*************
Akane looked at the old woman with new hope in her eyes. "There has to be some way to bring
him back!" She yelled. "There must be a spell that can reverse the effects of the other!" Cologne
shook her head and the girl wilted.
"I'm sorry child but the spell is only to send people to other worlds, there is no way to track them,
nor bring them back. There are billions of different dimensions and realities and even if we did find
the right one than we would have to travel there and open a portal here from that side." Everyone
looked at the woman as if she knew more but was holding back. After all that's what the old crone
usually did.
Ukyo spoke next. "So there is a way." Cologne nodded.
"Yes there is a way but it's much too risky! If you were to be lost in the dimensions there would
be almost no way of finding your way home. If you were to accidentally get lost in time than
there's at least an 80% chance you'll never make your way back!" Ukyo just smiled.
"I guess I'll have to be carful than. Won't I?" She said. Shampoo, Akane, and the rest of the rooms
occupants stared at the girl in amazement. They couldn't believe that the okinomiyaki girl would
risk everything just for Ranma, and without a second thought or a moment of hesitation. Anyone
else would have wrote it off as a lost cause. Cologne was and she had over three hundred years of
experience.
Akane and Shampoo were not going to allow themselves to be one upped by the chestnut haired
chef. "I want to go to!" Said Akane. "Ranma's saved my life countless times. I owe it to him to
bring him back." Soun and Genma smiled and cheered.
"Yes Akane! Go save your fiancé and then when you get back we'll have a beautiful wedding!"
Soun said as he started to wail. "The schools will finally be joined Saotome!" He said as he
clutched his bald friend.
"Yes! And we'll have a nice early retirement too!" Genma pitched in as he clutched Soun as well
in a hug. Tears streamed down both their faces.
"I GO TOO!" Shampoo yelled as she jumped up from her seat at the Tendo's living room table.
"Shampoo risk anything for Airen." She stated matter-of-factly. *And there no way I let Spatula
girl or Violent Ape girl get to him first.* She thought as she glared at her two rivals for Ranma's
heart.
Cologne was shocked. She had already lost Ranma she did not want to lose Shampoo as well. The
other girls she held no malice towards and didn't wish for them to thrust their very beings into the
unknown. "Shampoo! Akane! Ukyo! Did you not listen to a word I said!?!" She yelled to the
three rivals. "This isn't just a trip to china to fight a silly man with one half of a recipe that wants
to marry Akane!" Akane frowned at the memory of their _trip_ to see Kirin. "This is a trip across
the multi verse! Through space and time! We don't know what is in these other dimensions! You
could die the instant you get there for all we know!"
Shampoo being the ever stubborn and persistent amazon that she was folded her arms underneath
her ample breasts and stuck her nose to the air. "Shampoo no care. Shampoo take all chances."
The other girls mimicked her actions and glared at the old woman who sighed in defeat.
"Okay. If you want to go than I shall not stop you. I will help you to prepare so that you do not
have much trouble on your journeys. I’ll start by deciphering the spells and trying to make the
teleportation less explosive." The girls all smiled and thought of what they would do once they've
finished their journey and found Ranma. Shampoo thought of bringing him back to the village
where they would have lots of babies. Ukyo thought of opening a chain of Okinomiyaki shops and
anything goes dojo's across Japan with Ranma as well as having a couple of kids. Akane thought
of beating a tied up Ranma with a whip while she wore a leather thong bikini with chains hanging
off of it in several places.
Each of the girls had goofy smiles on their faces as their daydreams took control of their
consciousness. Cologne sweated as she looked at the girls in fear. *I have a very bad feeling
about this.* she thought.

Author's notes: {I didn't revise a whole lot on the first chapter. I pretty much came out the way I
wanted it too. Mostly grammar and little things. No additional scenes. Trust me on this. When I’m
done this will all flow MUCH better.}
